If you like Knoll furniture (read: have taste) but lack Knoll money (read: haven't sold your majority stake in that whole Google "thing"), this is a good purchase. I did a lot of research on the Knoll knock offs on the market - this seems to be in the least expensive group. I was wary on buying this, since even inexpensive Knoll knock off money is still real money. I have now had this for a little over a month and a half, so I can give you a breakdown of the good and bad.1) Looks - The dimensions are spot on and it is a VERY faithful copy. A good friend of mine's family business is running a vintage furniture shop that sells mostly mid-century modern and memphis era pieces, and he agreed with my assessment. I had some house guests a few weeks ago, and everyone commented that it looked really, "cool."One thing, the couch I received did not have the center leg that was in the photo. No big deal; it doesn't feel any less sturdy, but that photo should be corrected. Other than that, the photo is accurate. This is a slight negative, but doesn't really detract from the product.2) Leather - You aren't getting full-grain analine here, but you are getting decent leather on the cushions. It isn't particularly thick and will likely require some deligent care to keep in good condition. It is still in very good shape after the month and half of daily sitting. I will update this if it goes south later in the year.3) Comfort - The cushions were unbelievably stiff when I got it. It took about three weeks, but they have broken in and now the couch is pretty comfortable. However, I am worried that this may mean that the cushioning will go completely limp later in the year, I will update if that happens. There is access to the cushioning, so if I do need to replace it, its not that big of a deal.4) Delivery - The packaging was REALLY sturdy. There was a forest of cardboard that surrounded it, and it was wrapped repeatedly with plastic. There was a woodcrate skeleton around it. Like a complete idiot, the delivery guy and I took it into the house to open up the crating even though the weather was perfect. Since the thing is a definite two person lift, that was where it was going to stay. You WILL have a mess after uncrating it.There was an issue with the couch. When I opened it, I was shocked to fine a rusty, mud film on the couch cushions. It wiped off with some cleaner and a rag, but I am not sure what it was, or whether this was an issue of a lack of desiccants. Regardless, the leather was not pitted or damaged, although the couch smelled a bit musty for the first week. Not a huge deal.There are also no snaps to hold the back cushions in place, so expect the center cushion to not stay put. Not a big deal, and I am considering a quick mod to keep it in place. But this should be a simple fix.OVERALL: This is probably the best deal you are going to find on a Knoll-copy. That being said there were some issues, but nothing major enough to make me dissatisfied with the purchase. The good far outweighs any negative and at this price point, you will not do better.UPDATE: It has now been over a year and a half of everyday sitting and so I thought it would be best to update on the couch's status. The seat cushions have lost nearly all of their structure and no longer provide any meaningful support. The piping around the seat cushions has started to crack--- as the couch is black and the cording is white, this is very noticeable and detracts from the overall look of the piece.In all other respects; however, the couch has held up to daily life. That being said, the durability issues encountered with the seat cushions cause me to dock a star off my original four star rating.

Ok i just got this sofa in today. Here's the breakdown.Shipping was odd. Ignore the Amazon status of "shipped" they will call you about 5 days before it arrives to set up a delivery time. They were flexible for 2 days with when it will arrive. My delivery time took from the time of my order being placed to it walking in my door was 11 days. The shipping time for me they gave me a 4 hour window 9am - 1pm. The delivery guy called me at 930 to let me know he was around the corner. No problem with the delivery guy he helped me carry the sofa to my house (about 6 steps) and moved it into my living room.The thing was wrapped like a burrito. A large layer of plastic wrap and another thick layer of bubble wrap. Of which revealed a wooden skeleton surrounding a cardboard box. (I'll include a photo of this). I opened the whole thing up with a kitchen knife with zero problems. The amount of packing material will fill up about 3 standard recycling bins (those big green ones)! So make sure you have space or a big dumpster handy. Its for sure more material than you would think upon first glance.Now for the sofa itself. It looks great! Some of my worries were that the back pillows would fly off if i sat down in it. So i set the thing up and had a good sit.. then a leaping sit.. then quickly sat down and then did my best to try to make them come off... they didn't. I also leaned back and nothing. I think you really have to try to get these pillows to move. Also i think i MAY put some velcro on the back to keep it in place, but again; may.The cushions are VERY stiff like people said, but they also feel like they will beak in.. I know you hate to hear that and it doesn't help but it's my first assessment and i think its an accurate one. I don't see the back breaking in much as they won't get much 'sitting' but the bottom; for sure. I'll make sure to update this in a few months as i'm pretty active on Amazon.The sofa is what it is. Is more attractive than it is comfy.. But if you're considering this sofa im sure you're not in the market for a big ugly floppy brown sofa your grand dad could fall a sleep in. You want something pretty and fits into your mid century / modern style. And that what it is... You can for sure host a cocktail party and people wouldn't complain having a sit.Personally i looked for months trying to find a quality sofa beautiful that i would love and wouldn't cost as much as a car... For me this is a step in the right direction... Sure this isn't a 10,000 dollar beautiful tuffed leather chesterfield that will last you generations. But for the price, its most likely the best you're gonna do. Go for it!!(i'll post photos)

For the money, there are way better couches you can buy. If you really want a Florence Sofa replica in this price range, I'd highly consider the fabric version.The leather version is a joke. The seams don't align and the leather is really fragile. I've sat on this, ~4 times now, and the buttons are now a different color than the leather itself - and I don't wear pants or jeans that bleed. I don't wear belts, and somehow the piping has gotten scratched. This is compared to a bi-cast leather sectional I had in my previous home for 6 years, that didn't have even a scratch on it when I sold it after heavy use.The feet on this sofa have plastic covers that are essentially randomly selected squares of plastic... they are not finished in any way and look hideous.The comfort... wait, the what? the cushions are slabs of granite. Any thought of comfort should be left at the doorstep when you're entering your living room. And to further that sentiment, the back cushions have no way to attach to the back wall. Given that its support wall is half the height of the cushion itself, when you sit, the back will wobble, come off, fall back, fall forward, and do all sorts of unnatural things but will not give you comfort - remember you left that hope at the doorstep.Oh, and the delivery company that is used to ship this is a marvel in itself. They are severely disorganized, requiring you to call 3-4 times to confirm that they will be delivering in the week they estimated delivery (the online system never updates, and nobody calls you). Once you've taken the day off from work, bless your soul if you live in the city. Their trucks will refuse to navigate into inner streets and if they do, they will park a few blocks away and will make you push the crates to your building doorstep. They will then refuse to bring it indoors.I wish I could return these, and buy something more comfortable for the money. Even something from Ikea. But no, now I'm stuck with these uncomfortable, and unsightly slabs of stone. Please consider something else or the fabric versions of this couch.
