I'm fairly picky with furniture. This chair set exceeded my expectations. It was easy to assemble and all parts fit well together. The synthetic leather is of good quality and finish. The stitchings are well done. The metal bases have a nice finish and weight to them , and the reclining mechanism works well. Everyone in the family finds the chair comfortable- we range from 4 ft 10" to 5 ft 11". All in all, I dont think you can get better for this price range. Certainly a much better buy than the " Stressless" chairs for five times the price.

I ordered this chair because the pictures looked good, was reasonably priced and the right size chair for my living room. It arrived ahead of time from what was estimated by Fed-X, and was in perfect condition. Everything was all in one box which was well packed and protected from the rough conditions freight companies put merchandise through. There are basically 7 different pieces that need to be assembled, not including metal hardware. Although the basic tools do come with the pack of screws, I quickly found out that I had a much better hand ratchet driver to utilize during assembly. For one person, assembly is quite challenging, or it was for me. One hand is needed to hold the chair section in place, another to set and hold the screw, then yet another to turn the screw. I was the only one home at the time and excited to assemble the recliner. Since I had a ratchet driver with a magnetic tip, it was completed but was still a challenge for a solo job. I had to use my knees, legs, arms and even a shoulder to get this done. No doubt I must have truly looked like some contortionist during this assembly.The chair is built solid and is comfortable. Now in stating that, it did take a little adjustment for me because this chair replaced a worn out, pillow-like over-stuffed recliner which I nicknamed, "Home-sweet-home". I'm 5'11" and I can sit and watch a TV show /movie in comfort in this recliner. This chair is a recent purchase so I can not attest to any durability except to mention that it does look well stitched and bonded. Visitors who have seen the chair have indeed commented well and stated that it looked quite expensive, to which I simply replied........"thank you".
